This collectible set of three miniature sheets of postage stamps was issued by Vatican City on December 3, 1987, to commemorate the 900th anniversary of the transfer of St Nicholas relics to Bari. Each of the three sheets contains eight postage stamps. Scenes depicted on the stamps include the arrival of the relics in Bari, St. Nicholas giving purses of gold, and St. Nicholas saving a ship.
