This collectible plate block of four $1 postage stamps was issued by the US Post Office to honor Eugene O’Neill. O’Neill (1888-1953) was an Irish-American playwright widely considered to be the foremost American dramatist and one of the greatest playwrights of the 20th century. He was awarded numerous prestigious awards.
