Interesting official Vatican Post folder with five genuine postage stamps honoring Pope Pius XII. The stamps have all been postmarked with a first day of issue cancellation.
Issue date: March 12, 1940.
Only 315,000 sets of these stamps were issued; obviously, the number of sets available with first day of issue cancellations is much smaller. This would make an interesting addition to a collection.
