Description
This set of eight Belgium postage stamps was issued to mark the death of Queen Astrid. Funds raised by the surcharge on the stamps went to fight tuberculosis, which is why there is a double cross symbol, sometimes referred to as the tuberculosis symbol, in the lower right hand corner of each stamp.
Issue date: December 1, 1935.
Each stamp measures approximately 28 x 39 mm.

Condition: mint, never hinged.
