This collectible plate block of four collectible US 29-cent postage stamps was issued to honor American soldiers who fought in the Middle East. According to the USPS: "This stamp salutes the members of the U.S. Armed Forces who served in Operations Desert Shield & Desert Storm. The design depicts the Southwest Asia Service Medal, established by Presidential Executive order in March 1991."
