This set of six collectible postage stamps was issued by Vatican City to commemorate the Centenary of the first Apparition of the Virgin Mary at Lourdes, France, in the Pyrenees. The stamps depict Saint Bernadette praying and an ill patient with the Lourdes Shrine in the background.
