This collectible collection of ten postage stamps was issued to honor America’s National Parks, including Mesa Verde, Acadia, and Yellowstone. The 1934 US Post Office National Parks Issue consists of ten commemorative postage stamps issued between July 16 and October 8, 1934. The stamps were designed to promote tourism and raise awareness of America’s national parks. Each stamp features a different park and depicted a scene or landmark from that park.
