Description
These six collectible postage stamps were issued by Austria on March 13, 1954. The additional charge on the stamps went to raise money for health care. Depictions on the stamps are as follows:
30+10 Austrian groschen – Irradiation of a Patient (violet)
70+15 groschen – Physician with Microscope (brown)
1+0.25 Austrian schilling – Mother with two healthy children (ultramarine)
1.45+0.35 schilling – Operating theatre (green)
1.50+0.35 schilling – Baby on scales (carmine)
2.40+0.60 schilling – Red Cross nurse and ambulance (purple carmine)
