Description
This plate block of four 25-cent US postage stamps was issued by the Post Office as part of the Liberty Series to honor Revolutionary War hero Paul Revere. The central subject of the stamp, a likeness of Paul Revere, was reproduced from a photoprint of the Gilbert Stuart portrait of 1813.
