Description
This collectible set of three air mail postage stamps was issued by the Philippines to commemorate the first flight between Manila and Madrid. The stamps are surcharged with new values as well as an overprint reading, "Manila – Madrid Arnacal Flight – 1936". The persons depicted on the stamps are William McKinley, Abraham Lincoln, and Francisco Carriedo (1690-1734).
