Description
This collectible set of two collectible Irish postage stamps was issued on September 18, 1933, to commemorate the Catholic Holy Year (Annus Sanctus) of 1933-34. The design of each stamp depicts two beings with bowed heads before a cross, over which is written "In Cruce Salus", which roughly translates to "Salvation in the Cross". The 2p (Irish penny) stamp is gray green, and the 3p stamp is blue.
