Description
These three collectible Omani postage stamps were issued on August 1, 1957, to commemorate the World Scouting Jubilee Jamboree. The stamps are actually Great Britain postage stamps bearing a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II that were overprinted with Gulf naye paise (NP) values for use in Oman which was, at the time, part of the British Empire.
