Description
This set of six collectible postage stamps was issued by Canada at the conclusion of World War II, and is known as the, "Peace Issue". The stamps depict various scenes, including an Ontario farm scene, Great Bear Lake, the St. Maurice River hydroelectric plant, combine harvesting, lumbering in British Columbia, and the "Abegweit", a train ferry on Prince Edward Island.
