Description
This collectible set of six postage stamps depicting children of Cura?ao (a Lesser Antilles island country in the southern Caribbean Sea) was issued by the Netherlands Antilles to raise money for youth welfare and the White and Yellow Cross Foundation. The White and Yellow Cross Foundation originated around 1900 when clergymen began to provide care for the needy in the Caribbean, and still operates today.
