This set of four postage stamps was issued by China to honor the Pagodas of the Tang and Song Dynasty (618-1279). Depicted on the stamps are the Dayan Pagoda of Ci’en Temple (652), Xi’an; Zhenguo Pagoda, Kaiyuan Temple; Liuhe-Pagoda, Hangzhou; and Pagoda of Yougou Temple (1049), Kaifeng.
