Description

This set of nine postage stamps issued by Greenland depicts King Christian X on six of the stamps and a polar bear (Ursus maritimus) on three of the stamps. Seven of the stamps were issued in 1938; the red 20 ?re (Danish ?re) stamp depicting the king and the blue 40 ?re stamp depicting the polar bear were issued in 1946.
