Description
This set of eight postage stamps was issued by Greece to honor Minoan art. Depictions on the stamps include a vase with painted lilies, a partridge (fresco), a fruit dish (mosaic), a rhyton bearer (fresco), ladies of the Knossos palace (fresco), a detail from a sarcophagus, a dancer (fresco), and vessels.
