Description
This collectible set of three Turkish postage stamps was issued to commemorate the fifth anniversary of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). The 15 Turkish kuru? stamp depicts a compass and world map. The 20 kuru? stamp depicts a globe, crescent, and stars. The 40 kuru? stamp depicts a tree with branches symbolizing the (at the time) 14 members of NATO.
