Description
These traditional 29-cent US Christmas postage stamps were first placed on sale on October 22, 1992, in Washington, DC. Designed by Bradbury Thompson, the stamp depiction is based on the painting "Madonna and Child With Saints" by Italian Renaissance artist Giovanni Bellini. The original painting is displayed at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC.
