Description
This collectible sheet of twelve 50-cent postage stamps depicting Benjamin Franklin was issued to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the first US postage stamp. Interestingly, the sheet was never available at any post office, and was only on sale for 11 days. "Pacific ’97" on the sheet refers to a philatelic exhibition held in San Francisco.
