Description
This collectible plate block of four 3-cent postage stamps was issued by the US Post Office to commemorate the 400th anniversary of Francisco Vasquez de Coronado’s two-year exploration of the American Southwest. The image on the stamp is taken from Gerald Cassidy’s painting, Coronado and His Captains.
