Description
This collectible plate block of four 10-cent US postage stamps was issued in early October of 1974, in time for use on Halloween mail that year. The stamp depicts a scene from Washington Irving’s famous folk tale, "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow," where Ichabod Crane is being chased by the Headless Horseman.
