Description
These two collectible postage stamps were issued by the US Post Office to celebrate two key events in American history: the arrival of Leif Ericson in what he described as "Vineland" (or "Vinland") and the first Norwegian immigrants in America. The 2-cent stamp depicts the Sloop Restaurationen. The 5-cent stamp depicts a Viking ship.
